MSc Echocardiography

A postgraduate programme of the Department of Cardiology — developing skilled, compassionate, research-oriented cardiac sonographers.

Programme Overview

At the Forefront of Cardiac Imaging

Echocardiography stands at the forefront of non-invasive cardiac imaging, vital in the diagnosis, evaluation and management of cardiovascular disease across all age groups — from neonates to the elderly. With the rising global burden of heart disease, the demand for advanced, ethically driven cardiac imaging professionals is at an all-time high.

The Department of Cardiology offers a Master of Science in Echocardiography that blends academic rigour with immersive clinical training: advanced imaging including 2D, 3D and 4D echocardiography, applications in fetal, paediatric, adult and perioperative imaging, a strong foundation in cardiovascular physiology and pathology, and real-time case work in critical care, surgical and interventional settings.
