SSSIHMS operates under the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, established by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to oversee a wide range of educational, medical, water and service projects.
The Trust's institutions — including hospitals, universities and large-scale drinking-water projects — have served millions of people across India and the world, always free of charge.
